Since its establishment in 2008, the Center has provided 11 research labs and two conference spaces, with the Physics Department's 150-person lecture hall serving as the primary base for academic activities. Over the years, the Center has organized numerous seminars and workshops, significantly increasing the frequency of visits and collaborations with scholars from both domestic and international institutions, thus positively impacting academic exchanges and enhancing the academic atmosphere.

 

    The Center promotes interdisciplinary research, currently focusing on nonlinear dynamical systems. It aligns with the two main axes of this project by establishing longitudinal integration between theoretical research and numerical simulations, while also greatly enhancing horizontal integration among experimental teams, thereby greatly benefiting overall research. The Center’s members are actively involved in the third phase of the six-year project of the National Center for Theoretical Sciences (NCTS), jointly hosted by our university, Tsing Hua University, and National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, leveraging external resources to advance towards becoming a leading theoretical research center in Asia.
